Grade R, Middle and Junior Groups

Arrival of learners
All Groups receive children in their classrooms
Grade R  - Outdoor Play - Receive remaining Grade R Children
Grade R - Bathroom routine and then to the classroom
Yellow, Red and Blue Group - Children go outside
Red and Blue Group - Greeting Rings
Discussion of weather, date, leaders, servers, news, shapes, colours etc.
Green and Orange Grade R Groups - Home base ring (Discussion of weather, date, leaders, servers, value charts etc.) Revision of home language, news and numbers.
Red and Blue Groups - Bathroom routine, Ring then snack.
Yellow Group - Toilet routine and then snack and activities in their own room
Green and Orange Grade R Groups - Outdoor play

Main Ring - Blue, Red, Orange and Green Groups - One of the following - Language, Enrichment, Music, Band, Physical Education, Drama, Life Skills, Song and Discussion Rings on Life Skills, Home Language, Mathematics and Science Displays. Whole Group Time
Snack - Sandwiches and Juice supplied by the School
Free Play - All Areas / Free Choice Time - Cognitive, Fantasy, Construction, Creative Garden, Painting, Sensopathic, Water and Sand Play, Climbing and Cycling etc.
Toilet Routine - Groups called individually with various musical instruments
Green and Orange Grade R Groups - School Readiness - 2nd Session - Home Language, Arts and Culture

Red and Blue Groups (Small Group Time) - Skills Development
Story Ring (All Groups)
Teachers hand out
Lunch - Aftercare Children. Children not attending Aftercare go home
* On a Friday Red, Blue, Green and Orange Groups watch a movie at 11h30 and the children go home or go to Aftercare for lunch at 12h00
